The university will declare the rank list on 25th September 2020 through online mode only. The counselling will be conducted for the ranked candidates by the university.

The counselling will be organised from October 2020. A random number has been generated by the university on 21st August 2020.

The University will also send the counselling call letter by post in which the ranks of the candidates will be mentioned.

TNEA 2020 Counselling Schedule 2020 – 1st,2nd,3rd,4th Round Dates

TNEA Counselling 2020 will Starts from October 2020. Candidates who have got the TNEA Rank card 2020 must have to attend for the TNEA Counselling 2020. At the Time of TNEA Counselling Candidates have to carry all the Required documents. Candidates will have to select the preferred choices of colleges and courses during the counselling process. Final seat allotment will be done on the basis of rank list, availability of seats and preferences set by the candidates.   2. Initial payment made will be adjusted in the college tuition fee during the admission and 80% of the initial payment will be refunded to the candidates those who don’t join the college.

For such cases in which two or more candidates scored the same marks in TNEA Rank List 2018, the inter-se-merit of the candidates would be decided in a following order of priority

  • Marks obtained in Mathematics,
  • Marks obtained in Physics,
  • Marks obtained in the fourth optional subject studied in qualifying examination,
  • Date of Birth (the older candidate would be placed at higher rank) &
  • Random number assigned (higher number will be given preference).
