Color.io Account
Login, registration and download issues are usually a consequence of the browser not being able to authenticate your user session.
To avoid any such issues please:
- Use a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. We do not support Internet Explorer and non-standard browsers for security and performance reasons.
- Enable third-party cookies (see how below).
- Disable or white-list any blocker-plugins (ad-blockers, script blockers etc) for vision-color.com
- Do not browse in 'private' or 'incognito' mode. This also prevents authentication.
With the above measures in place, please force-refresh any pages which previously didn't work. Force-refreshing is explained below.
If none of this works, please contact support and include information about the error and your browser/system setup.
Windows:
- Select the Chrome menu icon Chrome Setting.
- Select Settings.
- Near the bottom of the page, select Show advanced settings.
- In the 'Privacy' section, select Content settings.
- Select Allow local data to be set (recommended).
- Select Done.
OSX:
- Open Chrome preferences click on Settings, then Show Advanced Settings.
- Under Privacy, click on Content Settings.
- Make sure 'Block third-party cookies and site data' is not checked
Android / iOS:
- Open the Chrome app.
- At the top right, tap More -> Settings.
- Tap Site Settings -> Cookies.
- Switch Cookies to 'on'.
- Also check 'Allow third-party cookies.'
Windows:
- Click Tools > Options.
- Click Privacy in the top panel.
- Select the checkbox labeled 'Accept cookies from sites.'
- Select the checkbox labeled 'Accept third-party cookies.'
- Click OK.
OSX:
- Go to the Firefox drop-down menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Click Privacy.

- Go to the Safari drop-down menu.
- Select Preferences.

- Under 'Block cookies' select the option 'Never.'
iOS:
- Open your Settings.
- Scroll down to select Safari.

Force-refresh a webpage
To ensure you see the latest version of a site you need to clear the cache memory. This is done by doing a force refresh by pressing both control and F5 buttons simultaneously on your keyboard (depending on your browser).
How can I pay?
Color.io checkout accepts all major Credit Cards and PayPal.
Can I pay in USD or other currencies?
Yes. While all prices are displayed in Euro (EUR), we accept all currencies. Our payment processor will automatically convert your sum total to your local currency at the last step of the checkout process. You will always be billed by your credit card company or PayPal in your local currency.
The Color.io checkout window even has a built-in currency converter so you can preview the exact amount you are going to pay before committing your payment.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are secured using state-of-the-art encryption. We also never store any credit card or other payment information in your account or on our servers. All payments are handled securely by globally trusted, standard payment processors Stripe or PayPal.
What is your refund policy?
We want you to love your new product. We're committed to providing accurate and detailed information about anything we offer either through our site or direct communication before you decide to purchase from us. I need an invoice as PDF
Invoice formatting is not a service we can provide. The purchase receipt you receive from Color.io upon checkout contains all the relevant information to comply with international invoice/receipt standards. You are free to convert the invoice to PDF yourself which is really straight forward and natively supported on most operating systems (Hint: Print the Email and select 'Print to PDF' from the printer device list).
VAT
VAT may apply for customers from within the EU. Businesses can enter their VAT ID at checkout.

You can download the latest version of ImpulZ from your Color.io Account.
Download Options
- LUT Component Package (Recommended): Download this ZIP file if you need just the raw LUTs without being wrapped into an installer. You can then simply store the LUTs anywhere on your local drive.
- Extension Patches: These are installer packages for Windows and OSX that extend ImpulZ with custom camera calibrations. Simply download and install them if and whenever you need them.
- Film Grain: Download options for the Film Grain included with ImpulZ (not included in the main package - they have to be downloaded separately from your account)
Before installing
To install ImpulZ on your computer you can either download the convenient installer package (Windows / OSX) from your account or download the LUTs directly. In either case, in order to successfully use ImpulZ LUTs in your application of choice, some basic steps are required to get everything up and running:
- Always unzip all contents from your downloaded file before running an installer.
- Make sure you have administrator rights on your computer before running an installer. We need to deploy the LUTs to the system directory and the installer needs administrative rights to do so.
- ImpulZ is a HUGE library of LUTs containing thousands of calibration patches that are specific to certain cameras and profiles. You probably don't need all of them. Choosing the right profiles during installation is crucial to keeping your interface uncluttered and your workflow fast and efficient later.

Install ImpulZ LUTs for Adobe Premiere
Adobe Premiere CC comes with the powerful Lumetri Color Panel. You will be using this panel to load and apply ImpulZ LUTs to your footage. Unless you put all of the LUTs into a specific folder they will not show up in the Lumetri drop down menus - and there's a good reason why we think this is a good thing:
VisionColor LUT collections are big, with many input/output variables to choose from. We believe that loading LUTs using your system’s native file browser is much quicker and more convenient than scrolling through a list of thousands of presets. Another significant benefit of working this way is that the same LUT files can be loaded from the same folder location using other Creative Cloud applications like After Effects, Speedgrade or Photoshop.
Now simply go into Lumetri, twirl down the 'Creative' section and click 'Browse' to navigate to the ImpulZ LUTs folder.
If you want to add some of your favorite ImpulZ LUTs directly into Lumetri for quick access, Adobe recommends to copy the .cube files from your ImpulZ directory to one of the following locations.
Install ImpulZ LUTs for Adobe After Effects
Download the LUT Component Package and save the library folder to your local hard drive.
Alternatively, if you downloaded an installer:
- Run the downloaded installer.
- Select 'Generic Installation'.
- Untick any camera profiles that you won't need. You can always add them later if you have to.
- Finish the installation.
Now your ImpulZ LUTs are located in the ImpulZ directory at:
Adobe After Effects CC has a native plugin to load and apply LUTs:
Effects -> Utility -> Apply Color LUT
Simply navigate to the ImpulZ directory and load your LUT of choice.

Alternatively, if you downloaded an installer:

Adobe Photoshop CC has a native plugin to load and apply 3D LUTs:
Image -> Adjustments -> Color Lookup:
Simply navigate to the ImpulZ directory and load your LUT of choice.
Optional: If you want to add some of your favorite ImpulZ LUTs directly into the Color Lookup dropdown menu for quick access simply copy the .cube files from the ImpulZ directory to:
Install ImpulZ LUTs for Davinci Resolve
Manual Installation (recommended)
- Download the LUT Component Package(s) from your account.
- Unzip the library from the downloaded .zip folder.
- Move the library folder to the following location on your local hard drive. You may have to show hidden folders to find these:
Tip: If you know you won't need certain camera profiles or LUTs you can delete them from this folder to prevent the LUT menu in Resolve from growing too large. You can always re-download the entire library from your account if you need the LUTs in the future.
Installer
- Run the downloaded installer.
- Select 'Davinci Resolve'.
- Untick any camera profiles that you won't need. You can always add them later if you have to.
- Finish the installation.
Now your ImpulZ LUTs are directly available from within Resolve. Simply right-click on a corrector node, choose 3D LUT and select an ImpulZ LUT of choice.
Right click / Cmd + click on a corrector node to apply your LUT of choice.
Install ImpulZ LUTs for Affinity Photo
Download the LUT Component Package and save the library folder to your local hard drive.
Alternatively, if you downloaded an installer:
- Run the downloaded installer.
- Select 'Generic Installation'.
- Untick any camera profiles that you won't need. You can always add them later if you have to.
- Finish the installation.
Now your ImpulZ LUTs are located in the ImpulZ directory at:
Affinity Photo has a native plugin to load and apply 3D LUTs:

Next simply click 'Load LUT' and navigate to the ImpulZ directory to load your 3D LUT into Affinity.
Install ImpulZ LUTs for Final Cut Pro X
Final Cut Pro X can not natively load 3D LUTs. So in order to work with LUTs you will have to install a third party plugin.
At the time of writing, these are some excellent LUT plugins for FCPX and - most of them are free!

Vision Color Impulz Luts Free Download Windows 7
Make sure you have a capable LUT plugin insalled for Final Cut. Next, unpack your ImpulZ download and proceed:
- Run the downloaded installer.
- Select 'Generic Installation'.
- Untick any camera profiles that you won't need. You can always add them later if you have to.
- Finish the installation.
Now your ImpulZ LUTs are located in the ImpulZ directory at:
All of the Final Cut Plugins listed above require LUTs to be installed to different folders so please refer to their documenation to learn where to put your VisionColor LUTs.
Install ImpulZ LUTs for VEGAS
Not all version of VEGAS support LUTs out of the box.
Currently only Vegas Pro 15 can load and apply 3D LUTs without requiring a third party plugin. All other versions (Vegas 13 and up) require the VisionColor LUT Plugin
Once you have ensured that your version of Vegas can load LUTs either natively or with a plugin, simply extract your download and proceed:
- Run the downloaded installer.
- Select 'Generic Installation'.
- Untick any camera profiles that you won't need. You can always add them later if you have to.
- Finish the installation.
Now your ImpulZ LUTs are located in the ImpulZ directory at:
Now simply apply your LUT plugin to a clip or track and select the LUT you want to apply to your footage by browsing the file system.
Install ImpulZ LUTs for other applications
One thing that makes ImpulZ great is that it's practically open-source with a format that can be loaded and applied in tons of applications and also directly on many professional cameras and on-set monitors.
Because of the sheer number of supported applications and devices we can not explicitly list all installation instructions. If your particular application is not listed above but can load 3D LUTs there's a very good chance that it can load ImpulZ Film Emulations!
Please refer to the documentation of your software to learn how to apply LUTs or contact our support to get help!
